Travel north on Rte 9 out of Saratoga Springs (Rte 9 runs parallel to I-87). Continue north on Rte 9 for 6.5 miles from Rte 50. When you come to a traffic light make a left onto Corinth Mountain Rd (Rte 101). This road turns into Wilton Mountain Rd. Make a right onto Spier Falls Rd when you come to a stop sign and a T intersection. Continue down the hill to the boat launch on the left.
Hudson River Paddle
The Hudson River Paddle is an easy, flatwater paddle that takes you along a scenic and remote section of the Hudson River. The route goes between the Palmer Falls Dam upstream and the Spier Falls Dam downstream. The peaceful 5.5-mile stretch offers a calm paddling experience, ideal for nature lovers.

The Spier Falls Boat Launch is a well-maintained hard surface site, offering easy access for most trailered boats. Located upstream from Spier Falls Dam, it provides entry to the 5.5-mile flatwater paddle. Managed by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, the launch is well-kept for easy access.
There is limited parking for five cars and trailers at the boat launch, with additional parking at the Western Ridge trailhead nearby.
